FRIENDLY CHEMISTRY

 

Friendly Chemistry is available as an online course!  You can take the course with a full-time instructor at your own pace in your own home.  Here's how it works:

1.  Enroll in the course.  You can begin at any time of the year and take up to one year to complete the course.  After registration and payment are recieved, you will be shipped your textbook and manipulative set.  A userID and password will be issued to allow you access to the course websites.

2.  The online course follows the textbook with its 32 lessons.  Each lesson is designed to take approximately one week to complete.  The lesson consists of a reading assignment and 1-2 practice pages to complete.  While working through the lesson, you can email your instructor at any time with your questions.  You will have full online access to solutions pages for each practice page.

3.  At the conclusion of each lesson is an exam.  The exam consists of 10 multiple-choice questions which is taken online.  After review by your instructor (you must answer at least 7 of the 10 correctly), you are instructed to continue with the next lesson.

4.  Once all 32 lessons are completed, a final exam is taken and upon successful completion, you are issued a final grade for the course along with a certificate of completion for your records.  

Cost for the course which includes all materials (student textbook and manipulative set) is $300.00.
