Friendly Chemistry Online
Expected Time Requirements
The Friendly Chemistry Online course is divided into 22 Lessons and 1 Final Exam period.
Each lesson consists of a text reading assignment and 2-3 pages of practice exercises followed by an evaluation to document progress. The reading assignment length varies as does the difficulty of the exercises on the practice pages. In general, each lesson may take up to 3-4 hours to complete. Depending upon how much time a student devotes to the course, on the average, the course may take 18-20 weeks to complete (based upon an average of one hour of work per day). Please note that these are only estimates - some students may work through the course in less time and others may take longer.
It should be noted that once a student begins the course, he or she will be alloted 9 calendar months of time to complete the course. After the nine month period of time has passed the student will no longer have access to tutoring by the course instructor.
